SOD.DEL is a growing agent& distributor company, currently active in mineral raw materials for diverse industries in the Benelux& France. Yet, with the ambition to grow outside those borders in the near future. To stay one step ahead, SOD.DEL is launching a technology-based service called SupplyWise/PigmentsWise with a clear strategy and determination to become an innovative leading distribution company in its industry.

We are looking for a digital lead with an entrepreneurial mindset to manage a diverse set of tasks:

Strategical tasks

  • Go deep into the business process of the current supply chain of importing goods from overseas into Europe. Analyze what tools are out there and see how they can fit with our platform.
  • Performing smart market research & analyses to approach new customers & markets.
  • Break down our current strategic approach, test the approaches, gather feedback from producers & clients. Adapt the assumptions and approaches, re-test and validate again.
  • Translate the business to solutions & follow up with the development party.
  • Follow-up and manage the development solutions (MVP1 and MVP2)  
  • Lead the future development requirements and future direction of the company’s technology developments.
  • Developing & validating new innovative services for our customers

Business Development tasks

  • Can present the technology solutions to target producers and clients.
  • Can listen and understand their feedback, be agile in the costumer development approach, modify and adapt on the spot when needed.
  • Can generate sales.

Additional Job Information

We are looking for a dynamic, multifunctional professional interested in developing him/herself in our team and assist in driving the growth of the company. The first priority will be to gain a deep understanding of our current way of working and the already early-stage innovative developments that have been done. The second objective will be to follow-up the developments and take the lead of the digital transformation. Challenging the MVP’s and take ownership of the digital transformation.

  • A good knowledge of English is key, any other languages are nice to have (French, Dutch, German)
  • Industrial / Business Engineer / Commercial Engineer degree
  • A dynamic, analytical &structured personality willing to learn and to take initiative while fostering teamwork with a lot of fun and positive attitude.
  • Work experience is a plus: Experience as IT / Project Manager, Consultant or Developer
  • 2 – 5 years work experience

The holding SOD.DEL SCA comprises 4 commercial enterprises active as agent/distributor of mineral fillers and raw materials for different industries (paints & coatings, plastics & polymers, sealants& adhesives, building& construction, glass, agriculture, animal feed etc.). We represent several European suppliers mainly for the Benelux and French market. Our commercial enterprises are : Sodachem NV, Deltamat-Paquet NV, Ingfer Mineral Fillers BV and Distrivrac SAS with a consolidated turnover of ~12mio€. We are a dynamic team of 11 people, future-oriented with a strong focus on development and growth.
